I don’t think it get’s much more beautiful than an Annapolis Maritime Museum wedding. I had the privilege of photographing a wedding here recently and I knew I wanted to come back for a styled shoot. We’re coming up on almost a year from the day that I photographed this styled shoot in collaboration with Katie from Rose Gold Events & Styling! What’s up Weddings Magazine (who published this in a 10-page feature of their spring/summer 2017 issue) describe the shoot as “Nautical style without any of the cliches” and I’m inclined to agree. Instead of the typical nautical theme of anchors and stripes, we decided to instead use driftwood, oysters, and sea glass tones throughout the shoot. The table was decked out with elegant, tall white candles and a gray Silk and Willow table runner surrounded by shells and rentals from Faccia Fresca Vintage. One of my favorite touches from this shoot was the Marigold & Gray gift basket with touches of the sea. It included salt water taffy and fresh baked cookies.
