I can hardly believe it, but 2016 is coming to a close! Between some incredible weddings, my rebrand, and launching my YouTube channel, it was a pretty eventful year. So, the obvious question is, what were my most popular Instagram posts, right? 😉 hah, kidding. But I was curious so, just for fun, I decided to find out what my top 9 posts throughout the year have been.
Drum roll please…
I’m always surprised to find that pictures of myself even make it in there! 238 posts and 27,906 likes! Phew! I can really see a floral and romantic trend among these images, which is such a true reflection of my recent rebrand.
Our countdown to best of the ‘gram begins with a head shot of me in my office. Do not be fooled…we all know that in reality my hair would be 80% dry shampoo and my workspace tends to get a little more, what’s the word, creative? Thanks to my awesome wedding assistant Rebekah for taking this photo!
Gosh do I love a good bouquet photo and it looks like I’m not the only one! This gorgeous white bouquet was designed by Michael Designs Florist. They did an incredible job on Josh & Jaclyn’s whole day.
I took this photograph of this Susie Saltzman ring on Julie Ha Calligraphy while at a photography workshop by Elizabeth Fogarty. It’s my goal to take at least one workshop a year and this one did not disappoint!
Sometimes a couple is so in love and the light is just right, and you get magic. Frankly, their whole day was pretty incredible – see Gabrielle and Michael’s wedding here.
Stephanie and Dan’s wedding (my first of many Naval Academy Weddings) was featured on Style Me Pretty for Veteran’s Day! I mean c’mon! How cute are they?!
It was my last wedding of the year and we lucked out at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Count Hotel when we had this gorgeous room all to ourselves for portraits. I think it’s safe to say this is my favorite bridal portrait of 2016.
Funny story- I shared a behind the scenes cell phone image the day I photographed this wedding, and about 5 months later I shared the second image (that was taken with a pro camera) that looked very similar. I laughed when I saw how they both made my top 9! Note to self: Keep sharing behind the scenes of me working on wedding days! 🙂
Finally, my most liked post of 2016!! These gorgeous Manolo Blahnik heels were absolutely perfect for this Elegant Blush Wedding styled shoot at Hope Flower Farm. Who can blame people for double tapping those bush beauties?!
If you haven’t yet, get your top 9 and share them with me. I’d love to see!
