Keith and Melissa met and became friends 12 years ago while they were still in high school. They reconnected after college, fell in love, and have been together ever since! Keith and Melissa’s engagement session took place on the most beautiful autumn evening in Annapolis. Just days before our session, Keith told me he and Melissa had brought home the newest member of their family– Bella! I couldn’t have been more excited to meet her and include her as a part of their session. I LOVE Shiba inus – I mean just look at those ears! Bella was the just sweetest and most adventurous little gal! Bella wasn’t the only thing I wanted to take home…check out this rock! Absolute perfection! I drooled over this incredible rose gold engagement ring as I photographed it during their outfit change. Nicely done, Keith!! 😉 Brides-to-be, take note of Melissa and Keith’s formal outfits. I always recommend dressing up for engagement photos and these two were on point! Why dress up? Because these photos will be on the walls of your home and possibly even at your wedding reception (also save the dates!) so having a more formal option is ideal! It’s also super easy to look beautiful and get flattering images when you’re in heels and a dress! I think these two picked wonderful colors and textures for their outfits and looked so effortless yet completely elegant!
