Get ready for some dreamy wedding images because today I’ll be sharing some of my favorite images from a burgundy and copper wedding inspiration shoot at the Historic Waverly Mansion.
For this inspiration shoot, we wanted to play around with some deeper burgundy tones, copper accents, and a rich blue suit for our groom. With the colder weather months moving in, we wanted to show brides some options for looking chic while still staying warm for some portraits by including a fur wrap! The wrap served as the perfect contrast against the beaded detailed blush BHLDN gown (designed by Needle & Thread).
For our table, Hailey Grace Events styled a stunning raw wood table with lush florals, tall candles, and an oversized table runner. To further tie in the florals and the metallics with the rest of the shoot, the stationery goods were detailed with gold foil and a pop of florals can be seen in the envelope liner. Annapolis brides – be sure to check out Little Bit Heart for some killer stationery designs! Not only are they super talented but they’re also great to work with.
Our models, a real life couple, are friends of mine and Allison (our bride) actually did her own makeup and runs a wedding makeup company in Ellicott city, Maryland. I want to give a shout out to all our vendors (tagged below). I couldn’t have imagined a better or more talented team to work with for this inspiration shoot!
These rings were SO much fun to shoot! The beautiful copper and burgundy tones could not have gone better with our theme! I especially love the detail and design of the ruby engagement ring on the rose gold setting!
