DC Anniversary Session | Briana and Nick

California natives Briana and Nick celebrated 2 years of marriage with a trip to the east coast and a DC anniversary session at the National Portrait Gallery. The courtyard, balcony at sunset, and classic columns were the perfect backdrop for their formal session. Briana, who is also a super talented wedding photographer, found my work on instagram and when she shared her ideas for her anniversary session with me I knew it was going to be amazing! It’s always an honor to document a couples’ love story, but it’s especially flattering to be chosen by a fellow photographer!
As we were walking through the galleries exploring, we found a beautiful little balcony with some amazing light. Briana and Nick absolutely rocked their photos and were total champs even though it was pretty darn cold outside!!  Congrats on 2 years of marriage, guys!
