I have been looking forward to this engagement session since John and Lauren contacted me around Christmas time about their upcoming wedding at the Liriodendron Mansion! I had seen pictures online of this incredible venue and couldn’t wait to see it in person and have the chance to capture it’s beauty. And let me tell you – it did not disappoint! When I arrived, the sun was just beginning to rise and birds were singing. It was so peaceful – a hidden garden full of fountains and flowers.I was immediately inspired by the arches of ivy creating a canopy over the patio area. It’s where Lauren and John will be having their wedding at the mansion this September.
I absolutely love it when my couples bring props to their engagement session! You can’t go wrong with champaign. Even at 7AM! I told them when they got home they should make mimosas!
Lauren & John, congratulations to you both!! Thanks for waking up so crazy early so we could do your session at sunrise. You two were complete naturals! I cannot wait to see you again this September for your wedding.
