Stephanie and Daniel’s elegant Naval Academy wedding was one for the record books! Each and every detail throughout their day was so thoughtfully and beautifully planned. I loved seeing how they tied in nautical details in their letterpress invitations and throughout the reception space. You could see the great effort and care that went into their day.
Because Stephanie really loves the romantic look of film photography (a girl after my own heart!) and it’s one of the things that drew her to my work, I was sure to shoot film throughout the day and portrait times. I had a blast photographing them in their favorite buildings and gardens all over the Naval Academy and I absolutely LOVE the way all the film turned out!
Can we just pause and take a moment to appreciate Stephanie’s all blush peony bouquet wrapped in blue and navy stripes?! Talk about romantic elegance! As her “something old”, she also wrapped the bouquet in lace from her grandmother’s wedding gown. I just love those meaningful traditions and details!

I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful day in June for a wedding! Their ceremony took place in the Chapel and reception was held at the Alumni Center. Between the light streaming in through all the windows, and the way Stephanie’s gown floated down the long aisle, it was an incredible entrance moment!
Congratulations Lieutenant and Mrs. Haines!! I’m wishing you two a lifetime of happiness as you adventure though life together.
