Proposal in Fells Point | Seth & Wynn

When Seth contacted me to photograph his proposal in Fells Point, he told me he was proposing to the love of his life, Wynn. I could just hear the excitement in his voice and I knew I wanted to be there to document that special moment. We emailed back and forth to plan the perfect day and location and decided we would meet outside of Nanami’s Cafe where Seth and Wynn shared their first date. We had gorgeous weather. After weeks of rain, it made seeing the sunset even more beautiful!

I waited for them on a bench, trying to blend in (not super easy with 2 cameras and a big lenses!!). Seth told me they would both be wearing red shoes and surely enough they each had on toms which made them super easy to spot!

Thankfully she had no idea I was there. She said “YES!” and she was completely surprised!! After they were officially engaged (Yaahoooo!!), we walked along the docks during the most beautiful sunset for some engagement photos. They were both so overjoyed and excited it was as if I wasn’t there. I simply followed them around and documented the cuteness!Wynn’s beautiful engagement ring combines the old and the new. The diamond is a family heirloom and the band and setting are new. It was absolutely perfect!
My assistant Rebekah (who is super talented) has been playing around with videography work and made them this beautiful video of their proposal. I just love it!!
