Kathlyn and Stephen’s wedding at the Tidewater Inn combined the old with the new. The colors for the day were burgundy, berry, and silver. Kathlyn wore a sparkling yet classic lace gown and her bridesmaids dressed in a range of cranberry colored dresses. The flowers tied everything together with tones of blush and deep burgundy. I had the best time photographing all the little and meaningful details as the girls got ready in the morning. As a gift, each bridesmaid received a monogrammed ring dish. The details kept coming as we moved into the ceremony and reception too with a hot chocolate bar, and even blankets for their guests!
How much fun are these matching button-downs the girls wore during the getting ready part of the morning?! We joked that they might make the cover of the Ralph Lauren Catalog!!
The whole winter wedding thing is really growing on me, guys. Maybe its the fur wraps?! I feel like the crisp weather makes the day all the more cozy and intimate feeling. I’ll admit, I didn’t used to be the biggest fan of winter weddings, but now I am honestly loving the look, feel and color palette of winter weddings so much! Kathlyn’s choice of wedding colors seriously couldn’t have turned out better!
Their reception space was fantastic! Tables glowed with candles and the flower centerpieces gave the whole room a soft, romantic feel.
What can I say? The s’mores soire station was the CUTEST idea ever! Guests could mingle outside by the fire and make themselves their dream s’more and even wrap up in a blanket.
Congratulations Stephen and Kathlyn!! Your wedding day was stunning and so, so fun! I’m honored to have captured it!
