Baltimore Maryland Westminster Hall Wedding

Tara and Russell tied the knot at Westminster Hall in Baltimore, Maryland. Tara wore a strapless lace gown and cathedral veil made by her mother. Their weddings colors were gray and yellow- complete with a stunning yellow diamond engagement ring! While shooting the details in the morning, I fell in love with Tara’s wedding heels and wanted to take them home with me!!! I might just have to buy myself a pair! One of my favorite parts of the day was a Persian tradition during the wedding ceremony. During this time, Female relatives of the couple (mainly the bride) hold over the couple’s head a fine scarf or other delicate fabrics like silk. Two pieces of crystallized sugar (shaped like cones) are rubbed together, a symbolic act to sweeten the couple’s life together. Tara and Russell are the most fun and laid back couple to photograph! Their obvious love for each other made it an absolute breeze! After the ceremony, we took some portraits on the grounds of Westminster hall and in the streets of the city they both call home. Guests left their names and well-wishes in gold on a couple of black globes. It was one of the best and unique guest book alternatives I’ve seen yet!
