After being on a big productivity kick earlier this year, I really enjoyed this book through the tangible tips and action steps that I was able to implement into my day.
The 5 Second Rule: Transform your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage
I really enjoyed Mel’s Ted Talks and podcast episodes, but this was the first book I read of her’s and I loved it. It really was inspirational to hear and easy to implement as well!
Who Moved My Cheese?: An A-Mazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life
This is one of my favorite books of all time as it’s a quick read, but so impactful in dealing with change in life or work. This was actually my second time reading it and I took away new things in reading it this time around. If you’re going through change in your business or life, this is a great read for you.
Overcoming Underearning: A Five-Step Plan to a Richer Life
This book was full of inspiring stories from women who have gone through Barbara Stanny’s program and up-leveled their lives, mindsets, and earning potential. It was so transformational for my life, business, and mindset. I will be reading it again.
You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth
While we’re on a money mindset kick, this book was really fun! It was a lighthearted read, with stories and obstacles from the author. It’s about giving your fears, doubts, and excuses a kick out the door. Note: I wouldn’t recommend listening to this with kids around.
Clockwork, Revised and Expanded: Design Your Business to Run Itself
I’m a big fan of Mike Michalowicz and his other work, so I knew I’d love this book. As a personal brand looking to build a business that can run itself, this book was a powerful read! It’s all about how you can take time away from your business by setting up the right systems and the right people in your business.
Finding Water: The Art of Perseverance (Artist’s Way)
I’m a huge fan of The Artist’s Way and this is the 3rd book in the series. This book talks to creatives who may feel like their creativity and inspiration have run dry. I’m personally facing this in my 10th year of business. I’m also excited to read The Artist’s Way for Parents.
More than a Mom: How Prioritizing Your Wellness Helps You (and Your Family) Thrive
While I love a good business book, this book about motherhood and self-care was so wonderful. This book is from a Christian perspective and has reflection questions at the end of each chapter for deeper growth or journaling. I think this would be a great book to read with another mom or in a book club setting because of that!
Your Dream Life Starts Here: Essential And Simple Steps To Creating The Life Of Your Dreams
I’m currently still working through this book, but already love it. It’s so helpful as I am in a reflection period in my business and life, determining what I love and want to continue to grow in.
