Life Update: Pregnancy & Embracing Change
The past few months have been nothing short of transformative for my family and me. At the beginning of this year, we made a big move to Tampa, Florida. Between home renovations, joining a new community, adjusting to hurricanes, and starting homeschooling, it’s been a whirlwind. Add in dealing with first-trimester symptoms like constant nausea, it really took a toll on my energy levels.
Adjusting to a New Phase of Motherhood
As we look forward to adding another little one to our family in May 2025, I find myself reminiscing about my past pregnancies. The dynamic will certainly change with my children, now being four and six years old. But they’re both so excited about welcoming a new sibling, making this journey all the more special.
Balancing Business with Personal Life
Professionally, this year has marked a significant transition. While I took a brief pause from creating new podcast episodes, my focus has remained on supporting my coaching clients and homeschooling my kids. During these months, I’ve truly come to appreciate the importance of diversified revenue streams in my business. Planning for times when I have to step back, like now during my “pre-maternity leave,” is crucial.
Reflecting on God’s Timing and Letting Go
This period has also been a lesson in learning to recognize and accept God’s timing over my own expectations. With several projects and launches planned for this year, I had to shift gears and prioritize my health and family. Resting without guilt, especially as someone driven by achievement, has been challenging but necessary. Finding peace in knowing there is time for everything has been a reassuring thought.
Planning Ahead: Maternity Leave and End-of-Year Recap
Looking forward, I’m planning my third maternity leave and would love to know if you would be interested in hearing about the preparations. Additionally, I am organizing my end-of-year planning trip, a practice that I do every year for reviewing and setting goals.
