What is a Launch?

A launch is a promotional event for your business. There aren’t any real rules around how you are supposed to launch in your business, so it can be customized to your needs. I like to reframe it as a promotional period for your product, program, or service—whether it’s something that is for a limited time or will stay around as a service for a long time.

So can you build a “promotional period” launch for a service? Absolutely!

Three Things You Need to Launch a Service

In order to have a successful launch, there are three things that you need to prepare for that launch!

Pick a Timeframe

If you have a service that is always available, when you launch it, you want to pick a clear timeframe. This timeframe could either be an open and close date or simply the start and end date of your promotional period.

Pick a Marketing Boost

During your launch, you want to pick a marketing boost that makes the offer extra juicy and enticing for your audience to buy. This could be scarcity and exclusivity, a temporary price drop, a fast-action bonus, or something special to go along with this timeframe. This marketing boost will encourage action.

Map Out a Plan

To really plan for your launch, you need to build a plan based on your marketing assets, if you’ll do paid or organic marketing, and determine where you will focus on with your launch.

Once you’ve picked and planned out these three things, you’re set for your launch! If you’re thinking about investing in your business before your next launch to get support, make sure you’re on the waitlist for The Photoboss Method!
